During her training, Mansee underwent rigorous training with emphasis on perfection-Baarikiya and practice-Riyaz. She has also trained with other leading Gurus and has been a part of numerous workshops conducted by Pt. Birju Maharaj (Srajan Festival, Mumbai) and Guru Kumudini Lakhia (NCPA, Mumbai). Mansee has performed and displayed her skills in India, Singapore, Malaysia and USA. Mansee possesses skills of another dance style – Ghoomar, which originates from her cultural roots – the colorful land of Rajasthan. She started training in this folk form at the age of 15 with renowned teacher Late. Smt. Bharati Tolani, Founder of Chhaya Academy of Arts, Mumbai. Her training consisted of learning different styles using props such as thali, manjira, chang and dupatta. In 2000, Mansee took part in Chhaya Academy’s tour to USA, where she performed and showcased the culture and art forms of Rajasthan. She continued her Kathak training under Guru Smt. Shila Mehta where she cultivated and enhanced her interest in dance through a balance of emotions and physique. Mansee has been actively participating in various dance events and festivals. She strongly believes in collaborating with other artists and performers to learn, share and spread the art form. In 2015, she conceptualized "Kala Sangam" to celebrate World Dance Day, a platform to bring different artists and art forms together.
